Judith Lyn "Judy" Saracco

WELLSVILLE - Judith Lyn "Judy" Saracco, 69, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015, at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born December 16, 1945, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Frank Joseph and Velma June (Durbin) Wasko. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death on January 28, 2007, by her husband, Louis R. Saracco, whom she married December 5, 1961, and her sister, Penny Burgess.

Judy was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a member of the VFW Post 5647.

Survivors include one daughter: Jackie Hayes of East Liverpool; one son: George Stoffel of East Liverpool; four sisters: Cathy Fultz of Mustang, OK, Nancy Miller of Enfield, CT, Carol Dippold of Gibsonia, PA, and Lisa Pennington of Myrtle Beach, SC; and two brothers: David Wasko of Gavers and Joseph Wasko of North Olmstead, OH. Also surviving are three grandchildren, six great-granchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her special friend, George Crews and his family.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at the Roberts Funeral Home.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Tuesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
