WELLSVILLE - Kathryn Marie "Kathy" Daniels, 65, of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Trinity Medical Center West following a brief illness.

She was born July 20, 1960, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Nickolas and Dorothy (Dailey) Zelasko. In addition to her parents, Kathy was also preceded in death by siblings: Michael, William, and Joanne Zelasko.

Kathy graduated from Wellsville High School in 1978. She completed her Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Education at Akron University. Kathy was employed for 35 years as a teacher in the Wellsville Local School District before retiring in 2024. She loved teaching, and her students were "her kids" whom she would go to bat for when needed. Kathy enjoyed music and musical theater, motorcycle rides with her husband, Scott, jigsaw puzzles, and loved all animals, but especially her dogs. She was an avid fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes, and everyone on "the hill" could hear her cheering on Saturdays.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Daniels, whom she married October 5, 1985; three children: Christopher Daniels of Wellsville, Tyler Daniels of Tampa, FL, and Alexis (Austin) Baker of Salem; and one brother, Edward (Cindy) Zelasko of Wellsville.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at a later date.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with her arrangements.
