Kathryn M. "Kate" Hutchison

OMAHA, NEBRASKA - Kathryn M. "Kate" Hutchison, 92, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Montclair Nursing Center.

She was born May 23, 1923, in Toronto, the daughter of the late Oscar and Margaret (Clutter) VanDyke.

Kate was preceded in death on December 21, 1973, by her husband, Donald Hutchison. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Carl VanDyke.

She graduated from Wellsville High School in 1940. She was a member of Wellsville First Christian Church where she was active in Women's Fellowship. Kate was also a member of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Survivors include one daughter: Debra Cataldo of Omaha, NE; one sister: JoAnn VanDyke of Wellsville; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, June 22, 2015, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the church officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
