EAST LIVERPOOL - Wilda Kathleen "Kathy" Russell, 93, of East Liverpool, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at Stonepear Pavilion in Chester.

She was born July 21, 1932, in Smithfield, WV, the daughter of the late Asa and Mae (Starkey) Stout. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death on August 15, 2011, by her husband, John Richard "Dick" Russell, whom she married September 17, 1948.

Kathy was a graduate of the East Liverpool Beautician's School and at one time owned her own beauty shop. She was previously employed as a dental assistant to Dr. Bragg and also as the office manager and physician's assistant for Dr. Manolo Mapa for over 30 years.

Survivors include her children: Terri (Terry) Criswell of Eighty Four, PA, Sue Reed of East Liverpool, and Ronald Russell of East Liverpool. Also surviving are five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Bess officiating.

Burial will be in Calcutta Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm on  at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
