Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Board

HAMMONDSVILLE - Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Board, 64, of Hammondsville, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born March 21, 1958, in East Liverpool, the son of Harlan and Barbara L. (Coil) Board of Hammondsville.

Kenny graduated from Edison High School in 1977 and served in the United States Army. He was employed as a laborer for Maryland Refractories. Kenny loved watching old movies and enjoyed hunting with his family. He was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, Kenny is survived by his daughter, Darla (Joe) DeCapio of Irondale; two sisters: Leah (Keith) Reese of Empire and Cindy Ours of Hammondsville; and one brother, Harlan Lynn (Barbara) Board of MI. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Matthew, Marisa, and Anthony.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Susan Clegg of the church officiating.

Burial will follow in Hammondsville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
