Lance Dean Hudson

WELLSVILLE - Lance Dean Hudson, 71, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Continuing Healthcare of Boardman following a lengthy illness.

He was born June 18, 1952, in Irwin, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Edwin Dean and Lois Mildred (Howell) Hudson. In addition to his parents, Lance was preceded in death in 2016 by his wife, Jo Ann Merriman, whom he married in 1978.

Lance graduated from Wellsville High School in 1970 and was employed for Super Foods in Wellsville, which was owned by his parents. He was a member of the Wellsville Eagles Aerie 772 and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his children: Jessica Bragg and Christina Hudson, both of East Liverpool, and Lindsey (Phillip) Crowley of Florence, SC; three siblings: Linda (Bill) Miller of Wellsville, Dawn (Mike) Betz of Wellsville, and Sean Hudson of Wellsville; and six grandchildren.

According to Lance's wishes, no services will held. Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with his arrangements.
