Lenora "Jean" Saracco

WELLSVILLE - Lenora "Jean" Saracco, 82, of Wellsville, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was born February 12, 1937, in Chester, WV, the daughter of the late Virgil and Sara Mae (Williams) Sprout. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her son, James Michael "Jimbo" Saracco; four sisters: Shirley, Darlene, Kaye, and Carol; and two brothers: Robert and Raymond.

Jean had been employed as a clerk at Convenient Mart in LaCroft before her retirement. She was a member of the Wellsville Sons of Italy Lodge #657 and was Methodist by faith.

Survivors include her husband, James Saracco, whom she married June 2, 1952; one daughter, Tina Allmon of Wellsville; one son, Steve Saracco and his wife, Heidi, of Wellsburg, WV; one daughter-in-law, Judy Saracco of Wellsville; and one brother, John Sprout and his wife, Sharon, of Chester, WV. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Tiffany McCauley, Donato (Ashley) Allmon, Damien Saracco, Aubrianna (Bill) McGonigal, Stacie Saracco, Alyson Saracco, and Devonie Saracco; eight great-grandchildren: Alanna, Griffin, Ryker, Marky, Alaska, Steven, Aleah, and Jennaea; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Vennitti of St. Thomas of Assisi Catholic Church in Toronto officiating.

Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
