Lester C. Cramer

WELLSVILLE - Lester C. Cramer, 73, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018, in the emergency department at Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 13, 1944, in Congo, WV, the son of the late Carlton and Dora (Phillips) Cramer. In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death by two sisters: Janet Boulson and Lola Buchner; and three brothers: Oran Lee, Michael, and Marion Cramer.

Lester graduated from Wellsville High School in 1960 and served in the United States Army. He had been employed in the maintenance department for Sammis Plant First Energy before retiring in 2006, where he was also a member of the High Stack Club.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia "Cindy" (Davidson) Cramer, whom he married August 28, 1964; and two sisters: Hazel Freshour and her husband, Delvin, of Edgewater, FL, and Rosemary Muchison of Beaufort, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Roberts Funeral Home with his sister, Rosemary, officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
