CANTON - Linda Lee Richardson, 61, of Canton, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Canton following a lengthy illness.

She was born January 16, 1963, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Jimmie and Annie (Davis) Youngblood.

Linda graduated from Wellsville High School in 1981 and obtained her associate degree from Kent State University. She was previously employed as a supervisor for Cigna Health Insurance in Pittsburgh. She was a member of the Wellsville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, David Michael Richardson, Sr., whom she married December 7, 1987; two children: David Michael Richardson, Jr. of Wellsville and Jasmine Barone of Canton; and five siblings: Roger (Kim) Youngblood of Weirton, WV, James Youngblood of Wellsville, Curtis Peachey of East Liverpool, Frances Youngblood of Wellsville, and Cathy (Chuck) Diggs of Dayton. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Christian Richardson and Luca Barone, as well as her "third child", her canine companion, Baby.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Wellsville First Baptist Church, 1401 Center Street, with Rev. Frank Perkins officiating. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
