Lois L. Bereschik

WELLSVILLE - Lois L. Bereschik, 88, of Wellsville, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Calcutta Health Care Center.

She was born January 3, 1924, in Etna, PA., the daughter of the late George and Jemima (Lane) Lanzine.

Lois graduated from Shaler (PA.) High School in 1942, and was a loving mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death on August 31, 1984, by her husband, George N. Bereschik, whom she married April 22, 1949.

Survivors include two daughters: Roberta Walther and her husband Gerald of White Hall, PA., and Kathleen Bereschik of Wellsville; two sons: George Bereschik and his companion Art of Sonoma, CA., and Richard Bereschik and his wife Stephanie of Wellsville. Also surviving are three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by two brothers: Phillip Lanzine and Lewis Lanzine.

A private memorial service and interment will take place at the Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA.

The Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville, OH., is in charge of arrangements.
