Lois Y. Grafton

EAST LIVERPOOL - Lois Y. Grafton, 78, of East Liverpool, died Monday, March 16, 2015, at Calcutta Health Care Center.

She was born June 6, 1936, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Ralph E. and Pauline (Wagoner) Salter.

Lois was preceded in death on December 7, 2010, by her husband, Harry Oliver Grafton, whom she married May 5, 1969. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James F. Varian.

Lois graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1954. She was previously employed at the East Liverpool Review and Crooks Furniture. Most recently, Lois was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include three sons: Chaplain Marc S. Richey and his wife, Chaplain Angela, of Port Richey, FL, Alan L. Richey and his wife, Candi, of Salem, and Harry S. Grafton of Toronto; one sister: Nancy Haught and her husband, Karl, of East Liverpool, and one sister-in-law: Veronica Varian of Lakeland, FL. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

According to Lois's wishes, no services were held.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville was entrusted with arrangements.
