Lois Eileene Mobley

WELLSVILLE - Lois Eileene Mobley, 86, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born November 27, 1935, in Ohio, the daughter of the late Rendal and Gladys (Schaeffer) Schlott. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Jordan, and two brothers: David Griswald and Robert Schlott.

Lois graduated from high school and was employed for ten years as a housekeeper for Mountaineer Race Track and Gaming Resort before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-six years, Fred Mobley II, whom she married April 1, 1955; five sons: Fred Mobley, Jr. with whom Lois and Fred resided in Wellsville, Ricky (Jeannie) Mobley of Texas, Patrick (Kelly) Mobley of Arizona, Michael (Jennie) Mobley of Florida, and Timothy (Tina) Mobley of Indiana; seven daughters: Jackie (Larry) Long of East Liverpool, Nancy Schier of Cincinnati, OH, Kathy McCauley of Ohio, Robin (Elton, Jr.) Street of Florida, Carla (Jay) Paulson of Arizona, Darlene (Mark) Mobley Herron of Florida, and Lorri Mobley, with whom Lois and Fred also resided in Wellsville; and one sister, Renda Keene of Minerva. Lois was blessed with thirty-six grandchildren, including special grandson Atavion Lovett, seventy great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, with another one on the way.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service.
