Marc Douglas Hinkle

CHESTER - Marc Douglas Hinkle, 49, of Chester, WV, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born October 10, 1970, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Edna (Wolfe) Hinkle and Robert Hinkle of South Carolina.

Marc graduated from Wellsville High School in 1989 and served in the United States Air Force from 1989 to 1995. He was employed for two years in the EMS Department at the Heinz VA Hospital in Pittsburgh. Marc was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 6450 in Chester and a member of the Living Well Church.

In addition to his father, Marc is survived by his son, Tristen Hinkle of Wellsville; two sisters: Tamma LaClair and her husband, Glenn, of East Liverpool, and Dawn Hinkle of Salem; and one brother, Michael Hinkle of Florida. Also surviving are three nieces, one nephew, and two great-nieces.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 25, 2019, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the church officiating. The Honor Guard from the Chester VFW Post 6450 will accord full military honors at 5:50 pm.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Friday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
