Margaret L. Francis

HAMMONDSVILLE - Margaret L. Francis, 82, of Hammondsville, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville.

She was born June 7, 1936, in Tell City, Indiana, the daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle (Basinger) Sims. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death in 1982 by her husband, Harry Francis, whom she married December 15, 1954. She was also preceded in death by her son, Randall Francis; three sisters: Isabell LeMasters, Edna O'Neil, and Betty Trevor; and four brothers: Frank, Donald, William, and Ben Sims.

Margaret was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was a member of the East Liverpool VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons: Harry Francis and Michael Francis, both of Hammondsville; and one sister, Hazel Salsberry of Wellsville. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Scott Francis and Heidi (Ray) Vincenzo; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Gary LeMasters officiating.

Burial will follow in Hammondsville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
