Margaret "Peggy" Miller

WELLSVILLE – Margaret "Peggy" Miller, 91, formerly of Wellsville, died Saturday, May 9, 2015, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was born March 18, 1924, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Okey and Jennie (Penman) Locke.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death on September 2, 1994, by her husband, Robert E. Miller, whom she married September 8, 1945. Also preceding her in death were two grandchildren: Silas Miller and Zachary Miller; two sisters: Jane Eggn and Kathleen McMann; and one brother: Patrick Eggn.

Peggy was employed for 30 years in the decal department for the former Sterling China Company before retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Wellsville Church of the Nazarene. She most recently attended Northside Community Church. Peggy lived most of her adult life in Wellsville, except for the past three years when she lived in Chester, WV.

Survivors include one daughter: Susan Haugh and her husband, Jeff, of Wellsville; four sons: Robert E. Miller, Jr. and his wife, Martha, of Naples, FL, Donald Miller and his wife, Marla, of East Liverpool, Keith Miller and his wife, Susan, of Wellsville, and Mark Miller and his wife, Lou, of Enterprise, AL; and one sister: Celestine "Sally" Boulay of Worcester, MA. Also surviving are twenty grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren with another one on the way.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Rose of Northside Community Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
