Marian M. Jackson

CALCUTTA - Marian M. Jackson, 84, of Calcutta, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was born January 6, 1931, in Toronto, OH, the daughter of the late Frank and Blanche (Wagner) Lysle.

Marian was a former member and president of the VFW Post 5647 Ladies Auxiliary and was a member for one year of the Columbiana County VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She attended the former Full Gospel Assembly. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Survivors include her husband, Donald M. Jackson, whom she married July 6, 1951; one daughter: Debra Ewing and her husband, Paul, of Wellsville; one son: Donald L. Jackson and his wife, Judy, of Yukon, OK; and one sister: Carol Lanave of Toronto. Also surviving are five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Michael Coil, four brothers, and two sisters.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor George White of the Christian Life Tabernacle officiating.

Burial will be in Yellow Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
