Martin Keay Heckathorn

LISBON - Martin Keay Heckathorn, 72, of Lisbon, died Saturday, October 27, 2012, in the emergency room at Salem Community Hospital.

He was born June 25, 1940, in Wellsville, the son of the late James and Sarah (Keay) Heckathorn.

Martin was a structural iron worker for 35 years with Iron Workers Local 207 in Youngstown, Ohio. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Wellsville.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann (Rice) Heckathorn, whom he married June 25, 1959; and two sons: Martin Jeffery Heckathorn and Brian Keay Heckathorn, both of Lisbon. Also surviving are three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Martin was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, October 29, 2012, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Elder Leo Corrick officiating.

Burial will follow in Yellow Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
