WELLSVILLE – Mary Jane Fusco Beadnell, 62, of Wellsville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was born September 7, 1963, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth (Moore) and Frank Frederick Fusco. In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Beadnell, whom she married October 17, 1987, and who passed away on January 12, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Fusco, who passed away on January 25, 2018.

She is survived by her brother, Frank (Mary K.) Fusco II of Columbus; her niece, Kathleen (Matthew) Burkeholder of Columbus; and her great-nephew and great-niece, Emmett and Quinn Burkeholder. Also surviving are her cousins and best friends, Lori and Jonna Call, along with an extended family and many friends.

Mary Jane was employed at Taco Bell, where she found not only coworkers, but a second family. Her Taco Bell "work family" meant a great deal to her. She was a mentor, friend, and source of encouragement to many of her coworkers, sharing her experience, humor, and caring nature with those around her. The relationships she built during the 12 years she worked there were a special part of her life.

Mary Jane was a lifelong resident of Wellsville, graduating from Wellsville High School in the Class of 1981 and later graduating from Kent State University. She loved her hometown and the people who called it home. Those who knew Mary Jane will remember her for her kindness, quick wit, and warm smile. She never met a stranger and had a special way of making people feel welcome. She was a loyal and caring friend to so many, and her ability to bring laughter and warmth to those around her will be deeply missed. The memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was Christian by faith.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Roberts Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the Wellsville First Christian Church officiating.

Family and friends may visit from 4:00–6:00 p.m. on Thursday at Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street, Wellsville.

Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
