Mary Lou "Sis" Chase

WELLSVILLE - Mary Lou "Sis" Chase, 69, of Wellsville, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was born September 26, 1952, in Steubenville, the daughter of the late Ruby (Sims) Rawson. In addition to her mother, Mary Lou was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Rawson, Jr., and one sister, Tammy Rawson.

Sis was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. She was a member of the Wellsville Eagles Aerie 772.

Survivors include one daughter, Kerry Appel of Wellsville; one son, Paul J. Chase of Hammondsville; and three sisters: Nancy Anderson of Guilford Lake, Betty Shaw of East Liverpool, and Christina (Joe) Newlin of Wellsville. Also surviving are four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Family and friends may call from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.

Mary Lou wasn't a fan of flowers, and her family requests that support during this time be expressed through sympathy cards.
