Mary Ann Dye

HAMMONDSVILLE - Mary Ann Lemire Dye, 63, of Hammondsville, left this life Thursday, October 14, 2010, to join her parents in Heaven.

She was born December 20, 1946, in East Liverpool, OH, the daughter of the late Hiram and the late Charlotte Edwina (Gray) Lemire Joseph.

Mary Ann graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1964 and married the love of her life, Francis Dye on February 17, 1967. She was a homemaker and wonderful mother and "nanny" for most of here life, working outside the home for a short while.

In addition to her loving husband, Mary Ann is survived by her adoring daughters: Charlotte "Charlie" and her husband Fred Workman of Gallipolis, Jody Alvery and her husband Scott of Steubenville, and Melissa Dye at home. Also surviving are her loving grandchildren, Ryan and Georganne Bertha of Hammondsville; Jacob, Joshua, and Katie Marie Alvey of Steubenville, and Madison and Zachary Workman of Gallipolis.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Monday at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Hudson of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
