Mary A. Haddox

SALINEVILLE - Mary A. Haddox, 78, of Salineville, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at her home.

She was born August 6, 1934, in Smithfield, WV, the daughter of the late David L. and Mabel C. (Irwin) Gilbert.

Mary was preceded in death on April 7, 1994, by her husband, Ronald E. Haddox, whom she married November 23, 1954.

She was employed as a clerk for Russell's Mini Mart. She was a member of the Highlandtown United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son: Ronald R. Haddox of Wellsville; one sister: Shelia Sayre of Chester, WV; and one brother: Alvin Gilbert of Glenmoor. Also surviving are five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by one daughter: Sharon Lively; one granddaughter: Jennifer Ann Lively; one sister: Dorothy Boley; and six brothers: Gerald, Loye, Lyle, Glenn, Charles, and Bernard Gilbert.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Monday, January 7, 2013, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Maylone of the church officiating.

Burial will follow in Highlandtown Cemetery.
