Mary Elizabeth Heaton

EAST LIVERPOOL - Mary Elizabeth Heaton, 86, of East Liverpool, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017, at her daughter's home in East Stroudsburg, PA.

She was born December 17, 1930, in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Louis and Nellie (Jeffers) Boyd. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death on May 3, 1996, by her husband, Robert K. Heaton, whom she married July 24, 1947, and by her son, Joe Heaton.

Mary graduated from high school and obtained two years of college education. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She had attended Wellsville First Christian Church and Campground Community Church. Mary was a proud member of the Wellsville Alumni Activities Committee.

Survivors include three daughters: Bobby Kay Campbell of East Stroudsburg, PA, Teddy Louise Ryan of East Liverpool, and Mary Elizabeth Unangst of East Stroudsburg, PA; two sons: Jerry Gene Heaton of VA and John Stephen Heaton of Easton, PA; one sister, Sally Curtis of Hammondsville; and one brother, Peter Boyd of East Liverpool. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary's life will be celebrated at 12:00 pm Saturday, August 26, 2017, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the Wellsville First Christian Church officiating.

Interment will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
