East Liverpool - Mary Jane "Molly" (Waggoner) Coates, 66, of East Liverpool, passed away after a short illness on Wednesday, July 09, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Mercy Hospital in Youngstown.

She was born on February 25, 1959, in East Liverpool, to the late Barbara (Crook) and Wilbur Waggoner, Sr.. She graduated from Wellsville High School as part of the Class of 1977. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, of which she was a long-time member, having been baptized on April 28, 1974. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-nephew, Jared Grieb.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Harold Coates; brothers: Wilbur (Jeanne) Waggoner of Fort Atkinson, WI; Graylen (Linda) Waggoner of Sagamore Hills, OH; and Jeffrey (Leslie) Waggoner of Hammondsville, OH; and sisters: Darlene Waggoner of Colonial Beach, VA; and Carla Stewart (Waggoner) of Wellsville, OH.

In addition to her siblings, she is survived by nieces and nephews: Gina (Waggoner) Grieb, Jason Waggoner, Joshua Sams, Michael (Ella) Waggoner, Jill (Waggoner; Matthew) Mallin, Jennifer (Waggoner; Nathan) Shriver, Jabison Sams, Joseph (Hannah) Waggoner, Jonathan (Kristy) Waggoner, and Jacob (Evelyn) Stewart.

Molly was loved by many great-nieces and great-nephews: Dylan Grieb, Samantha and Emily Mallin, Lauren and Julian Sams, Josiah and Naomi Shriver, Jensen Stewart, and Addison, Charlie, Sydney, Chase, Coralynn, Jacob, Matthew, Paige, Rosie Jo, and Waylon Waggoner. She will be greatly missed by her extended and spiritual families far and wide.

Services will be held at 12:30 PM on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 16516 Annesley Rd., East Liverpool, OH 43920. Family and friends may gather beginning at noon.
