Mary H. Sines

EAST LIVERPOOL - Mary H. Sines, 85, formerly of Wellsville, died Sunday, June 8, 2014, at her son John's home where she resided.

She was born October 17, 1928, in New Cumberland, WV, the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Brandon) McDowell.

Mary graduated from Wellsville High School in 1946. She was employed for twenty-six years in the warehouse at Hall China before retiring in 1991. She was a member of Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church and Yellow Creek Grange.

She was preceded in death in 1990 by her husband, Joseph W. Sines, whom she married March 31, 1949.

Survivors include one daughter: Patricia Searfoss and her husband, James, of Wellsville; two sons: John Sines and his wife, Debra, of East Liverpool, and Donald Sines and his wife, Jackie, of Wellsville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by two sisters: Maxine Wadas and Dorothy Kessel; one brother: Charles McDowell; and one grandson: Jimmy P. Searfoss.

The funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Joanne Dota, Hospice of the Valley chaplain, officiating.

Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
