EAST LIVERPOOL - Melany Jo Soldano, 66, of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Valley Hospice at Trinity West Medical Center following a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born April 30, 1958, in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late William and Deloris (Fronhnapfel) Rohal. In addition to her parents, Melany was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Rohal, and her brother-in-law, Nick Sacker.

Melany graduated from Brooke High School. She was previously employed in operations for Ohio Edison Sammis Plant for seventeen years and Marsh Bellofram for twenty-seven years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish.

Survivors include her husband, John Soldano, whom she married April 21, 1995; two sisters: Maggie Sacker of Follansbee, WV and Susie (Matt) Froehlich of Reynoldsburg, OH; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Jennifer Soldano of Wellsville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

According to Melany's wishes, no services will be held. Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with her arrangements.
