Michael L. "Mick" Kelley

WELLSVILLE - Michael L. "Mick" Kelley, 67, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017, at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital.

He was born January 13, 1950, in Morgantown, WV, the son of Eva Jean (Stump) Kelley of Cleveland and the late Ralph Kelley, Jr.

Mick graduated from Wellsville High School in 1967. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1971 during the Vietnam War. He had been employed for thirty-seven years as a maintenance foreman for the former Ohio Edison Power Plant before retiring in 2008. Mick was a member of American Legion Post 70, Eagles Aerie 772, VFW Post 5647, and Moose Lodge 122.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy (Stillwell) Kelley, whom he married June 24, 2006; two sons: Rick Kelley of Monaca, PA, and Christopher Kelley and his wife, Deena, of Irondale; and one brother: Wayne Kelley of Cleveland. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Kole, Jenna, Kalan, Aidan, and Gavin. Mick also leaves behind his beloved canines: Cupid, Aarow, and Gigi.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating. The Tri-State Burial Group will accord full military honors.

Friends may call from 1:00-4:00 pm on Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Roberts Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
