SALEM - Michael R. Rawlings, 46, of Salem, formerly of the Wellsville and East Liverpool area, died Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Salem Community Hospital.

He was born July 4, 1964, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Robert and Sally (Moore) Rawlings.

Mike graduated from Wellsville High School in 1983. He worked for Westinghouse in Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 258 and the Moose Lodge 122. Mike was Catholic by faith.

Survivors include two sisters: Amy Curtis and her husband Mark of Salem, and Shelly Pisarsky and her husband Brian of North Port, AL; six step-daughters: Jennifer, Amy Jo, Melissa, Amanda, Jessica, and Samantha Croskey; and three nephews: Aaron and Adam Pisarsky, and Braeden Curtis.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Kirchner of the Salem Nazarene Church officiating.

Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home. Because Mike was a big fan, Pittsburgh Steelers attire is requested.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street, Wellsville, OH 43968, to help defray funeral expenses.
