Michael G. Shepherd

WELLSVILLE - Michael G. Shepherd, 40, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015, at home following an apparent heart attack.

He was born March 14, 1975, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Judy (Young) Shepherd and Eric "Hootch" Shepherd of Wellsville.

Mike graduated from Wellsville High School in 1993. He served in the United States Army and was employed by the Allegheny Valley School District.

In addition to his father, Mike is survived by his wife, Kami (Sell) Shepherd, whom he married August 31, 2013; his step-daughter: Rorie; four sisters: Carla Copple and her husband, David, of Monaca, PA, Mary Lee Shepherd-Ice of New Jersey, Holly Monte and her husband, Steve, of Canton, OH, and Cyndi Aughinbaugh and her husband, Gary, of Texas; and two brothers: Eric "Hootch" Shepherd and his wife, Jackie, of Wellsville, and Lew Shepherd of Florida.

According to Mike's wishes, private services were held.

Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville was entrusted with arrangements.
