TORONTO - Michael Dale Stewart, 45, of Toronto, passed away unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in his home. He was born on July 26, 1980, in Columbus, Ohio.

Michael was a 1998 graduate of River High School in Hannibal, Ohio. Growing up, he enjoyed working on cars, being outdoors, and was somewhat of a daredevil. He enjoyed walking, listening to music, and getting to know other Toronto residents.

Michael was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Dale and Charlotte Stewart; maternal grandparents, Burt and Annabelle Cline; and cousins, Angela Stewart and Andrew Cline.

He is survived by his parents, Dale and Barbara Stewart; sisters: Stephanie Oldaker and Shelley (Thomas) Board; daughters: Alexis Stacy and Madison Stewart; son, Alex Stewart; granddaughter, Everleigh Stacy; grandson, Tyler Stewart; nieces Mayley Board and Kendra Board; and great-niece, Kinsley Debnar. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

According to Michael's wishes, no funeral services will be held.
