WELLSVILLE - Michelle Lynn "Shelly" Chrislip, 62, of Wellsville, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Valley Oaks Care Center following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born April 8, 1962, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Arlen and Betty Chrislip.

Shelly graduated from Wellsville High School in 1980 and in 1991 from Kent State University with an Associate of Applied Science degree. She was employed at Salem Regional Medical Center from 1991-2006 and at East Liverpool City Hospital from 2006-2022 as a MRI Technologist. Shelly was a social member of the American Legion Post 70 in Wellsville.

She is survived at home by her husband, Jack Cataldo, and the love of her life and great-niece whom she was raising, Shelby M. Talbott. Also surviving are two siblings: Greg Chrislip of Wellsville and Julie Paradinovich of East Liverpool.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville. Family and friends may call from 1:00-4:00 pm on Sunday.
