IRONDALE - Neil McDean "Dean" Morris, 78, of Irondale, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

He was born December 9, 1947, in Irondale, the son of the late Hiram and Leah (Penn) Morris. In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his siblings: Ruth, Norman, and Dennis Morris.

Dean graduated from Stanton Local High School in 1965 and attended Jefferson Community College. He was previously employed for 38 years as a millwright for Weirton Steel Mill before his retirement in 2003. He also obtained his CDL and previously worked for Timet and on the road crew for Knox Township. Dean enjoyed spending time in his garden tending to his cucumbers and zucchinis and staying current with the news. Above all else, he was the epitome of a family man, and when it came to the time he spent with his grandchildren, it was never enough. He was always there to help them in any way he could and to cheer them on at their ball games and other life events. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his entire world.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Patricia (Hanlon) Morris, whom he married June 15, 1966; and two children: Michelle (Jamie) Hoschar of Hammondsville and Mitch (Tricia) Morris of Hammondsville. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Brandon (Aubrey) Bach, Deanna (Anthony) Berardinelli, Dylan (Allisyn) Morris, Jaime (Jesse) Madison, and Drew (Aryn) Morris; and seven great-grandchildren: Aleah, Wyatt, Deegan, Olivia, Vinny, Jayelynn, and Jacob, with the eighth, Theodore, on the way.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Crowe officiating.

Burial will be in Morning View Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm on Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
