Nicholas Anthony Julius Prendes

WELLSVILLE - Nicholas Anthony Julius Prendes, 26, of Wellsville, was lifted up by angels on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, with his family by his side. He passed away peacefully of natural causes in the ICU at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

He was born May 13, 1987, in East Liverpool, the son of Bobby and Marie (Drago) Prendes.

Nicholas graduated from Wellsville High School in 2006. He was a member of the American Motorcross Association, as well as the Holy Trinity Parish.

Survivors include his brother: Marcus Prendes of Wellsville; his maternal grandmother: Lucille Drago of Wellsville; and his nephew: Amaro Prendes.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Michael Drago; and his paternal grandparents: Saturno and Bette Prendes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, January 11, 2014, at the Holy Trinity Parish in East Liverpool with Rev. Peter Haladej of the church officiating.

Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
