Patsy L. Zacharias

WELLSVILLE - Patsy L. Zacharias, 89, of Wellsville, gained her wings and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Calcutta Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 13, 1932, in Irondale, the daughter of the late Frank and Ruth (Crawford) Board. In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death in 1990 by her husband, Richard H. Zacharias, whom she married October 25, 1952. She was also preceded in death by one son, Mark Zacharias; two sisters: Ruth Ann Clutter and Edna Jean Cassidy; one brother, Richard Board; and one grandson, Zachary Reed.

Patsy was previously employed as a machine operator at Warren Molded Plastics. She was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her precious grandchildren. Patsy also enjoyed tending to her flowers and sitting on her porch while birdwatching. She attended the Church of God in East Liverpool.

Survivors include two daughters: Sandy Edmundson and her companion, Ed Findlay, of Wellsville and Patty L. (Bodie) Reed of Wellsville; one son, Richard L. (Jodi) Zacharias of Wellsville; two sisters: Linda (Roy) Crews and Sandy (Kenny) Dorsey; four brothers: Frank Board, Bill Board, Harlan (Barbara) Board, and David (Cindy) Board; one sister-in-law, Joyce Board; and one brother-in-law, John Cassidy. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Moriah, Chelsea, Mark, Rob, Todd, Witney, Shianne, Allison, and Kelly; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of The Living Well Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Yellow Creek Cemetery.

Patsy will truly be missed by all those whose lives she touched here on earth. Family and friends may call from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
