Patti Jo "PJ" McCoy

EAST LIVERPOOL - Patti Jo "PJ" McCoy, 63, of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Boardman.

She was born January 28, 1956, in Salem, the daughter of the late Thomas and Flora (Ross) Shafer.

Patti graduated from Wellsville High School in 1974 and was employed for seventeen years as a waitress at Hoge's Restaurant. She was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 772 in Wellsville and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford McCoy, whom she married June 2, 2012; one daughter, Kasi Gray and her husband, Chad, of East Liverpool; one son, John Shaw and his wife, Randi, of East Liverpool; one sister, Sally Williams, of Advance, NC; and one brother, Thomas L. Shafer, of Wellsville. Also surviving are five grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating.

Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
