Paul Robert Headley

WELLSVILLE - Paul Robert Headley, 82, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Lifeline Hospital in Wintersville.

He was born April 25, 1933, in Wellsville, the son of the late Fred J. and Agnes (Garner) Headley. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Rev. Harry "Bud" Willard Headley.

Paul graduated from Wellsville High School in 1951. He was employed for thirty years as a mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office and was the union official for the National Association of Letter Carriers. He was a member of the Wellsville First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma (Edgell) Headley, whom he married July 3, 1952; two daughters: Lynn Payne and her husband, Mike, of Wintersville, and Susan McDowell and her husband, James, of Mt. Vernon, OH; and one son: Robert Headley and his wife, Kristie. Also surviving are four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Wellsville First Christian Church, 831 Main Street, with Pastor Mark Blakeley officiating.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Paul's name to the Wellsville First Christian Church, 831 Main Street, Wellsville, OH 43968.
