LISBON - Paul V. Hughes, 61, of Lisbon, died Thursday, October 4, 2012, at home following a lengthy illness.

He was born December 19, 1950, in East Liverpool the son of the late Paul and Ruth (Wooden) Hughes.

Paul graduated from Wellsville High School in 1968 and was an electronics and hydraulics technician for Majestic Manufacturing until his retirement in August of 2012. He was a member of the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed collecting scale model cars and trains, and loved woodworking. Paul will be missed by his canine best friend, Suzi.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon (Howell) Hughes; one daughter: Sara Louise Hughes of Lisbon; one son: Paul Russell "Rusty" Hughes of Atlanta, GA; four sisters: Susan Walker and her husband James of Wellsville, Roberta Davis of Lisbon, Carol McCauley of East Liverpool, and Gloria Hughes of Wellsville.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Ward.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Brown of the church officiating.

Friends may call on Sunday, October 7 from 1:00-6:00 pm and from 9:00am until the time of service on Monday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.

Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Paul's name to The Missionary Society of the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene, 505 North Market Street, Lisbon, Ohio 43932.
