Paul Robert Miller, age 87, of Yellow Creek Township, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Lancia Villa Vista Royale of Steubenville, OH. Paul was born November 7, 1924 in East Liverpool, OH. He is the son of the late John and the late Ruth (Chamberlain) Miller. He married Patsy LouRose on April 30, 1960. He was predeceased by his wife, Patsy Lou Rose on December 9, 1989.

He served in the Army during World War II from Aug 18,1945 to Nov 6, 1946. He retired from Crucible Steel as a Rigger in 1982. Paul was a member of Yellow Creek Grange and Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by a son: Robert Miller of Wintersville, OH.; three grandchildren: Stephanie Nuzum of Columbus, OH, Megan Powers of Mingo Junction, OH. and Rachael Powers of Mingo Junction, OH; a special nephew, Bill Moore of East Liverpool, also survives.

He was also preceded in death by his Daughter, Betty Powers, a sister, Alice Moore, and a Brother, John Miller.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street, Wellsville, OH with Pastor Derek Marotta officiating. Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, East Liverpool.

Calling hours will be Thursday, February 23 from 5:00-8:00 pm at funeral home.
