Richard Stuart "Rick" Carter

Wellsville – Richard Stuart "Rick" Carter, 61, of Wellsville, passed away at his home on Friday, July 31, 2015.

Rick was born on December 29, 1953. Those he leaves behind to mourn are his mother: Dorothy (Price) Carter of Leesburg, VA; brothers: Ernie and Keith Carter of East Liverpool; and sister: Tammy Skov of Leesburg, VA, as well as several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, friends, and a community that will dearly miss him. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Carter.

He attended Wellsville High School and served in the United States Army. Rick received a full military funeral on August 6, 2015, in honor of his service to his country. He was laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Rittman, OH.

A memorial service will be held in Rick's honor at 11:00 am on Friday, October 23, 2015, at Mount Sinai FBH Church, 1617 Main Street in Wellsville, with Pastor Darlene Zanders officiating.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with the memorial service arrangements.
