Richard J. "Dick" Livolsi, Sr.

WELLSVILLE - Richard J. "Dick" Livolsi, Sr., 83, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at East Liverpool City Hospital following complications from Covid-19.

He was born February 13, 1938, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Mauro Livolsi and Vera N. (Martino) McDowell. In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death on October 18, 2017, by his wife, Joyce (Milligan) Livolsi, whom he married May 25, 1957. He was also preceded in death by his son, Richard J. "Ric" Livolsi, Jr. (Kim Fusco) on December 2, 2021, and by one brother, Maurice "Junior" Livolsi (Lois Livolsi) on November 6, 2015.

Dick graduated from Wellsville High School in 1956. He was employed as a milk deliveryman for Russell's Dairy, and he and his brother, Maurice, owned and operated Ashland Gas Station on 9th and Main Streets in Wellsville. Dick was then employed as a repairman at Kelly and Cohen Appliances and retired in 1982 as an electrician at the former Crucible Steel Mill. Dick was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Wellsville Sons of Italy Lodge 657 and the former Immaculate Conception Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Julie (Brian) Grimm of Wellsville; two sons: Jeff (Jerri Lynn) Livolsi of Wellsville and Michael (Christine) Livolsi of Nicholasville, KY; nine grandchildren: Ryan, Nicholas, Sidni, Michael, Rilee, Jessica, Peter, Ricky, and Michaelina; and three great-grandchildren: Becca, Ryder, and Journi.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Tuesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
