Robbin L. Mercer

WELLSVILLE - Robbin L. Mercer, 62, of Wellsville, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born December 24, 1953, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late William H. and Jeannie (Sanford) Brandt. In addition to her parents, Robbin was preceded in death by one sister, Margie Wilson Fultz.

Robbin graduated from Wellsville High School in 1973. She was employed for twelve years as a clerk at the former Russell's Mini Mart. She was a cheerleader advisor and a devoted member of the Wellsville First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Edwin "Ed" Mercer, whom she married June 22, 1973; one daughter: Sara Mercer Avery of Washington, PA; one son: Edwin Mercer, Jr. of Wellsville; and one sister: Becky Wilson Davis and her husband, William, of Irondale. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Aubree and Brantley Eltringham of Wellsville, and a third grandchild is due in September.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the Wellsville First Christian Church with Pastor Mark Blakeley officiating.

Friends may call from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday at the Wellsville First Christian Church, 831 Main Street in Wellsville.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with the arrangements.
