Robert D. Digman

LISBON - Robert D. Digman, 82, of Lisbon, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 11, 1933, in Williamstown, WV, the son of the late Willard and Gladys (Johnson) Digman.

Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country for twenty-one years during the Korean Conflict and the Tet Offense of the Vietnam War. During his service Bob was awarded several medals including two purple hearts and one bronze star. He was a member of the American Legion Post 70. Bob owned and operated the BP Service Station in Wellsville from 1982-2006.

Survivors include his wife, Ursula (Christian) Digman, whom he married July 6, 1962; two sons: Bob Digman and his wife, Hyo Chin, of Augusta, GA, and Tom Digman and his wife, Cara, of Wellsville; two granddaughters: Jennifer Traina and her husband, John, of Tallmadge, OH, and Rylee Digman of Wellsville; and one expected great-grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, February 22, 2016, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the Tri-State Burial Group.

Friends may call from 4:00-6:00 pm Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
