WELLSVILLE - Robert J. "Bob" Brown, 82, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at his home.

He was born October 26, 1941, in Wellsville, the son of the late John R. and Mary (Green) Brown. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Brown.

Bob graduated from Wellsville High School in 1960. He served in the United States Navy from 1960-1964 aboard the USS Midway. Bob was previously employed at the former Crucible Steel Mill, and he retired in 1997 from GM Lordstown where he had been employed for thirty years as an assembly worker. Bob enjoyed fishing and golfing.

Survivors include his wife, Connie (Crawford) Brown, whom he married in 1980; four children: Rob (Tina) Brown of Florida, Brent (Susan) Brown of North Carolina, Jennifer (Jorge) Estrella of Arkansas, and Tammy (Jason) Fancher of Toronto;  four siblings: John "Bun" (Pat) Brown of Wellsville, Jim (Cathy) Brown of Wellsville, Joyce Loch of Salineville, and Carol Daniels of Wellsvill; and one sister-in-law, Sharon Brown of Columbus, OH.  Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

According to Bob's wishes, no services will be held. Roberts Funeral in Wellsville is entrusted with his arrangements.
