Robert Carl Mason

WELLSVILLE - Robert Carl Mason, 74, of Wellsville, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born August 3, 1943, in Wellsville, the son of the late Robert D. and Alice (Witherow) Mason. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death on July 31, 1993, by his wife, Kathi (Powell) Mason, whom he married March 25, 1966.

Bob graduated from Wellsville High School in 1961 and served four years in the United States Air Force. He was employed for twenty years as a laborer for Ohio Brass before retiring in 1991. Bob was a member of the Wellsville VFW Post 5647 and attended the Living Well Church.

Survivors include three daughters: Dawn Mason of Wellsville, Vickie Mason (Dave Chambers) of Canal Winchester, OH and Marci Mason of Wellsville; one son: Robert "Bob" Mason of Wellsville; three sisters: Bonnie Rosenbaum of Wellsville, Cassandra Hoffman of East Liverpool, and Jana Mason of Aliquippa, PA; three brothers: Woody (Myrtha) Mason of Wellsville, Patrick Mason of CO and Tim (Tami) Mason of Wellsville; and two sisters-in-law: Faith Madison of OK and Christina Powell of Wellsville. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren: Natalie Mason, whom he helped raise, Jamie (Brad) Mitchell, Nichelle Mason, Alexandria Mason, Christopher Mason, Timothy Medeiros, Tyler Medeiros, Christina Pullie, Kathryn Medeiros, Malik Pullie, and Reese Mason; and nine great-grandchildren: Olivia Edison, Drake Wilson, Denver Blubaugh, Katalia Wilson, Kingston Wilson, Delaina Duck, Auden Medeiros, Jacob Mitchell, and Anorra Pullie. Bob also leaves behind his beloved "Alley Friends".

According to Bob's wishes, no services will be held.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with the arrangements.
