Robert Edmund "Bob" Osborn, Jr.

WELLSVILLE - Robert Edmund "Bob" Osborn, Jr., 75, of Wellsville, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Country Club Manor in Steubenville.

He was born September 13, 1949, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Hazel (Hall) and Robert Edmund Osborn, Sr. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Brown.

Bob graduated from Beaver Local High School in 1967 and served his country in the United States Navy from 1970-1973 during the Vietnam War.  He was previously employed as a machinist for the Crane Deming Company in Salem and was most recently self-employed as a heavy machine operator. Bob was an avid gun enthusiast and enjoyed race cars, dirt bike riding, and dune buggies. He also spent a lot of time attending auctions.

Survivors include his wife, Diane (Chase) Osborn, whom he married November 2, 1970; one son, Robert Edmund Osborn III of Wellsville; one daughter, Trisha Ritz of North Carolina; and one brother, William Osborn of Hanover, PA. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Aria Risbeckn and Nathan Osborn, and Danielle and Alexandria Ritz, as well as one great-grandson.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the Wellsville First Christian Church officiating. The Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will accord full military honors at 6:50 pm.

Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
