Robert L. Pullie, Sr.

WELLSVILLE - Robert L. Pullie, Sr., 83, of Wellsville, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

He was born August 7, 1936, in Wellsville, the son of the late Matilda (Thornton) and William Pullie, Sr. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death on January 13, 2015, by his wife, Gloria (Profit) Pullie, whom he married December 8, 1956. He was also preceded in death by five brothers: Donald Pullie, Gary Pullie, Melvin Pullie, Luther Pullie, and William Pullie, Jr.

Robert attended Wellsville Public Schools, and he had most recently been employed in the barrel house at Quaker State. Robert was a member of Mount Sinai FBH Church in Wellsville.

Survivors include two daughters: Tina Smith of Wellsville and Tracy Pullie of Columbus; one son, Robert Pullie, Jr. of Columbus; and one brother, James (Bessie) Pullie, Sr. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Tinisha, Adam, Tyler, Dorian, and Ashton; six great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, Isla, on the way.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the First Baptist Church of Wellsville, 1401 Center Street, with Pastor Darren Rogers of the church and Pastor Darlene Zanders of Mt. Sinai FBH Church officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with Robert's arrangements.
