Rosalie Elaine Shirey

EAST LIVERPOOL - Rosalie Elaine Shirey, 69, of East Liverpool, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at home.

She was born March 14, 1947, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Margaret (Harris) and Eugene A. Huyghe, Sr.

Rosalie graduated from Stanton High School in 1965. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed crocheting.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Shirey, Sr., whom she married May 24, 1991; one daughter: Tonya Baumgarner and her husband, James, of East Liverpool; one son: David Hackney and his wife, Jessica, of East Liverpool; two step-sons: Robert Shirey, Jr. and his wife, Elsie, of Cleveland, and William Joseph Shirey; and four brothers: Fred and Sondra Huyghe of Hammondsville, Henry and Sondra Huyghe of Bradenton, FL, Terry and Peggy Huyghe of Weirton, WV, and Eugene and Karrie Huyghe, Jr. of Orlando, FL. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Brianna, Aidin, Adelynn, Bishop, and Quinn.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Susan Clegg of Grant Hill Church officiating.

Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
