WELLSVILLE - Rosalie "Rosie" Wells, 74, of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Calcutta Health Care Center.

She was born October 4, 1949, in Rochester, PA, the daughter of the late Edwin Davis Males and the late Clarice Ruth (Van Devender) Brewer. In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death on May 6, 2021, by her husband, William Earnest Wells, whom she married February 14, 1968. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joan Lindsey.

Rosie was previously employed in customer service at Calcutta Giant Eagle and most recently as a hostess for seventeen years at Roberts Funeral Home. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Elvis. Rosie was a member of the Living Well Church.

Survivors include her children: William R. "Rusty" (Kelcie) Wells of East Liverpool and Heidi (Matt) Dunn of Newell, WV; as well as eight grandchildren: Kennedy, Aiden, and Jacob Graves, Lincoln and Charlie Wells, and Blakely, Benson, and Lena Shaw; and one great-granddaughter, Nataleigh Hobbs.

Family and friends may call from 1:00 - 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor Dirk Hall of the church officiating.
