Rose Marie Tice

WELLSVILLE - Rose Marie Tice, 85, of Wellsville, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born August 14, 1935, in Wellsville, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Winters) Metz. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by five sisters: Teresa, Mary, Angie, Anna, and Phyllis; and one brother, Dominic "Muzzy".

Rose graduated from Wellsville High School in 1954. She was previously employed for Acme Craftware. Most importantly, Rose was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and attended Holy Trinity Parish.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Tice, Sr., whom she married November 22, 1958; two sons: Daniel Tice, Jr. and his wife, Lisa Araujo-Tice, of Springfield, MO, and Kevan Tice of Wellsville; and one brother, Mike Metz of Lisbon. Also surviving are two granddaughters: Ava Araujo-Tice and Nyka Rose Araujo-Tice, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she dearly loved.

The Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 12, 2021, at the Holy Trinity Parish, 235 West Fifth Street in East Liverpool, with Rev. Scott Kopp of the church presiding.

Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm on Friday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, face masks must be worn at all times and social distancing protocols must be followed.
