Russell Jack Corsello, 93

Russell "Minnie" Corsello, a former Wellsville resident, passed away peacefully in Houston, TX, on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. He was born on July 26, 1922, in Wellsville, a son of the late Samuel and Basilla Corsello.

Russ is survived by his daughters Kimberley Corsello Wilcox and Valerie Corsello McFadden, and their husbands, John Wilcox and Clay McFadden, all from Houston, TX. He is also survived by his sister, Millie Fowler Chefalo of Kerrville, TX. Russ's granddaughters are Jessica Warren and Lauren McFadden from Austin, TX. His wife, Jenny, passed away January 23, 2015.

Russ is a World War II veteran of the United States Army, spending time in Europe during the war. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. He dearly loved Wellsville and missed it very much after moving to Houston to be with his family.

Visitation will be held at Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville, on Sunday, April 3, 2016, from 4:00-6:00 pm, with services starting at 6:00 pm. Rev. Melvin Rusnak will officiate at the service. Tri-State Burial Group will accord full military honors. Russ will rest eternally in the arms of Our Father and he will be buried beside his beloved wife, Jenny, at the St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Wellsville.
