Ruth Ellen Ensinger

WELLSVILLE - Ruth Ellen Ensinger, 70, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh after a sudden illness.

She was born October 12, 1946, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Richard L. and Pauline E. (Schnupp) Ensinger. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Ensinger.

Ruth graduated from Wellsville High School in 1965. She was employed for 42 years as a warehouseman for Homer Laughlin China Company. Ruth was a member of the Wellsville Sons of Italy Lodge 657, Wellsville Animal Advocacy Group, Wellsville Revitalization Committee, and Bunco Card Club.

Survivors include one sister, Arlea Ensinger, with whom she resided.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street, in Wellsville.
